Welcome to the Nelson Museum's website, where you can find out about England's greatest naval hero: Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson.
The Nelson Museum is a Grade II listed Georgian Merchant's house in Great Yarmouth, where you can learn about Nelson and the times in which he lived.
Explore Nelson's career, from his Norfolk childhood through his famous battles to his tragic, heroic death. Find out about his mesmerising personality, his terrible wounds and his many illnesses - not to mention his scandalous love life. Avoid the rats and beware the cannonfire in Below Decks! Try our hammock, play ship's games, examine cannons from Nelson's time or relax in the picnic area of the Maritime Courtyard. Learn about Nelson's genius as a leader, motivator, manager and role model in our current exhibition, 'The Nelson Touch: Inspirational Leadership.'
Come and see it all for yourself!
